Popular streamer Habeeb Hamzat Adelaja (Peller) is trending after gaining unauthorized access to the palace of the Oba of Benin during his nationwide tour.

According to reports, the visit was carried out without proper approval from the Benin Traditional Council, leading to what has been described as a serious breach of palace protocol.

The fallout has been massive:

A chief linked to the incident has been suspended indefinitely

A palace staff member has been arrested and charged by the police

A queen allegedly involved is now facing disciplinary proceedings that could lead to removal

The council has also reportedly declared Peller wanted and demanded that he appear before palace authorities and submit an apology.

Peller, however, is said to be considering a legal response instead of appearing before the council.
