TikTok stars Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, and Amadou Elizabeth Aminata, known as Jarvis, will exchange marital vows today, August 1, in what is expected to be one of the most-watched influencer weddings of the year.

The couple confirmed the date weeks ago in a cinematic announcement posted across their social media platforms.

The video concluded with the inscription “Jarvis & Peller 01-08-2026,” and immediately drew thousands of reactions from fans and fellow creators.

Peller on Instagram on Saturday wrote: “Today, we become one. Two tribes, one love. Two families, one forever. A new chapter begins and forever starts now”.

Peller and Jarvis rose to national prominence on TikTok through comedy skits, pranks and relationship-centred livestreams that routinely attract millions of views.

Over the past two years, the pair have become one of Nigeria’s most discussed digital couples, with clips from their content frequently trending on TikTok, X and Instagram.

Their journey to marriage has played out largely in public following Peller’s proposal to Jarvis in June at La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra, Ghana.

In June, he also travelled to Benin City, Edo State, for the traditional introduction and bride price payment to her family.

The couple have also completed a civil ceremony on Wednesday.

The white wedding holds in Lagos today, generating widespread buzz online, with the hashtag #JP2026 trending in the build-up.

The relationship has not been without controversy.

The couple briefly split earlier over privacy issues, and Peller once stated publicly that he would not marry a Nigerian.

Jarvis also drew attention in a recent podcast interview when she said Peller had never cheated and “if he cheats, he will die. It is the rule of the relationship.”

Despite the drama, the pair have maintained their status as leading figures in Nigeria’s digital entertainment space.

Their content and business collaborations continue to earn endorsement deals and appearances at major social events.
