ABUJA – The Managing Director of Independent Television and Radio, Engr. Elvis Obaseki, has described the visit by the President of the Benin Community in Abuja, Barr. Lucky Odigie, as motivational and strengthening, especially as the organization continues to recover from the recent fire outbreak that gutted parts of its Administrative Department at the Benin station.

The visit, which took place on Wednesday at the Abuja branch office of ITV and Radio, was aimed at commiserating with the management and staff over the unfortunate incident.

Reporting from Abuja, Juliet Dangiwa noted that Barr. Odigie conveyed the community’s sympathy and solidarity with the ITV & Radio family, describing the station as an important voice of truth and culture for the Edo people both at home and in the diaspora.

Engr. Obaseki expressed deep appreciation for the gesture, saying the visit served as a morale booster for the entire ITV and Radio team during this challenging period.

“We are truly encouraged by this visit. It shows that the Benin spirit of unity and support remains strong, even beyond the boundaries of Edo State,” he said.

He reaffirmed ITV’s commitment to rebuilding stronger and continuing to deliver credible news and entertainment to its audience.
