Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, alongside key leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has declared total support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

Speaking at a stakeholders’ meeting held in Benin City, Governor Okpebholo stated that the entire structure of the APC in Edo has resolved to back Tinubu for a second term, describing him as “the only leader capable of sustaining Nigeria’s current reforms and economic recovery.”

The governor emphasized that the APC in Edo is more united than ever, noting that past divisions have been resolved in preparation for the coming polls.

“Edo is now fully for President Tinubu. The Renewed Hope agenda is working, and we are seeing results. From infrastructure to agriculture and job creation, the impact is visible. In 2027, we will give him massive votes from Edo,” Okpebholo declared.

Party leaders, including senators, commissioners, and local government chairmen, echoed the governor’s remarks, pledging to mobilize grassroots support across all 18 local government areas.

They also urged opposition members to “join hands in building a better Nigeria under President Tinubu.”

The meeting ended with chants of solidarity and renewed commitment to ensuring Edo State becomes one of the strongest APC strongholds in southern Nigeria ahead of 2027.
