Former Edo State Commissioner for Information and Orientation under Lucky Igbinedion administration, Hon. Charles Idahosa has passed on at the age of 72.

He also served the Lucky Igbinedion’s administration as Chief of staff to the governor.

Idahosa died Saturday, December 20, 2025 in Benin City, Edo State capital after a brief illness.

Idahosa who served as Political Adviser to Adams Oshomhole, when he was the governor of Edo State once elected as chairman of Uhunmwonde local government council.

Charles Idahosa, known by many sobriquets, the two most popular being Charly Tempo and Akakasiaka, is a man of many parts who comes in different shades to different people depending on which of his side one encounters.
