Popular social commentator Godwin_je has shared his opinion on the ongoing controversy involving VeryDarkMan (VDM) and Harrison, following reports that VDM has allegedly given Harrison an ultimatum to turn himself in.

Reacting to the situation, Godwin_je advised Harrison to voluntarily report himself to the police and make a full confession, stating that doing so could help reduce the severity of any potential punishment.

“VDM has given Harrison till 11. Harrison should just go to the police and confess. Let the law take its course. At least they will reduce his sentence,” Godwin_je said.

His comment has since sparked conversations across social media platforms, with Nigerians divided over whether Harrison should heed the advice or wait for formal action from law enforcement authorities.

While some social media users agreed with Godwin_je, arguing that voluntary surrender often works in favour of suspects, others questioned the role of online activists and influencers in issuing ultimatums, insisting that such matters should be handled strictly by the police and the courts.

The situation has once again highlighted the growing influence of social media commentators in public discourse, especially in cases involving alleged crimes, accusations, and public pressure.

As of the time of filing this report, neither Harrison nor VeryDarkMan has issued an official statement clarifying the situation, while law enforcement authorities are yet to publicly confirm whether any formal complaint or investigation is ongoing.

The unfolding drama continues to draw attention online, with many Nigerians calling for due process, caution, and restraint as events develop.
