TCN Hosts Lagos Delegation, Pledges Support For Electricity Regulatory Responsibility

The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) hosted a delegation from the Lagos State Government at its Corporate Headquarters in Abuja on Tuesday, November 19, 2024.

Welcoming the delegation, led by Biodun Ogundoye, Commissioner for Energy and Mineral Resources, TCN’s Managing Director/CEO, Engr. Sule Abdulaziz, assured TCN’s support as Lagos prepares to take up regulatory responsibilities under the new Electricity Act.

In his remarks, Ogundoye said the purpose of the visit was to seek TCN’s collaboration to improve power supply in the state as well as tap into the company’s huge resources as Lagos prepares to take over regulatory responsibility in line with the new Electricity Act.
