Tragedy struck in Benin City on Friday as the Edo State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Mr. Agun Gbenga, collapsed and passed away during an official event.

According to eyewitnesses, the shocking incident occurred at the Bishop Kelly Pastoral Centre, where the International Association of World Peace Advocates (IAWPA) was hosting a program.
