The internet is buzzing once again over the ongoing drama between Nollywood star Regina Daniels and her billionaire husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.

Just days after a viral video showed Regina Daniels crying and accusing her husband of domestic violence, Senator Nwoko has now broken his silence — and his version of events tells a completely different story.

Ned Nwoko: “Regina’s Drug and Alcohol Abuse Caused Our Problems”

In a lengthy statement titled “Regina’s Unprovoked Carnage and Rampage in My House and in My Absence,” Nwoko denied ever being violent toward the actress.

According to him, Regina’s recent behavior is linked to drug and alcohol abuse, which has allegedly created serious problems in their home.

“Regina was not always like this. Her current battle with drugs and alcohol abuse is the root of our problem,” he stated. “She must continue her rehabilitation program, or I fear for her life and safety. Now she has moved to a place where she will have unrestricted access to drugs.”

Allegations of Violence and Property Destruction

The Delta-born politician accused Regina of turning violent in recent months. He claimed that she slapped and assaulted three staff members, damaged cars and windows, and even threatened their resident nurse.

To back up his claims, Nwoko shared a video showing the shattered windows and damaged property, which he said were destroyed by Regina during one of her alleged outbursts.

“I have other wives, and none have ever accused me of violence. Regina is the violent one here,” Nwoko insisted. “A clear-headed Regina would have taken Moon to the hospital, but instead she threatened to kill our nurse for exposing her drug abuse.”

Ned Mentions Alleged Drug Suppliers

Nwoko went further to name two individuals — identified as Sammy and Ann — whom he accused of supplying Regina with drugs. He alleged that one of them orchestrated chaos in his absence while he took their son, Moon, to the hospital.

He added that he had set strict conditions for Regina’s rehabilitation, suggesting that she continue therapy either in Asokoro or Jordan, where she would have no access to drugs.

Background: Regina’s Viral Cry for Help

This development comes after a viral video showed Regina Daniels crying and saying:

“In Ned Nwoko’s house, I am nothing. But in my house, I am a queen. I cannot stand the violence; it’s too much.”

The emotional video sparked massive reactions across social media, with many Nigerians accusing Nwoko of domestic violence.

However, the senator’s recent statement and video evidence have now shifted the narrative — with some fans suggesting that addiction and mental health struggles might be at the heart of the crisis.

Fans Divided

As of the time of this report, Regina Daniels has not responded to the allegations.
The unfolding drama has left fans deeply divided — while some sympathize with Regina’s emotional video, others believe Ned’s shocking claims may hold some truth.
