Senator Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole has called on residents of Edo North to embrace the spirit of hope, unity, and renewed faith as they celebrate Christmas.
In a Christmas message released to constituents, the former Edo State governor and ex-National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) described the season as a solemn reminder of love, sacrifice, and redemption. He said the birth of Jesus Christ symbolizes hope and salvation, adding that the celebration should inspire optimism despite current social and economic challenges.
Oshiomhole expressed confidence that the season would bring relief to individuals, families, and communities across Edo North. He urged residents to reflect on shared values of compassion, tolerance, and unity, stressing that these virtues are essential for sustaining peace, harmony, and development.
“Even in the face of present pressures, our resilience and collective spirit will continue to see us through difficult times,” he noted, encouraging citizens to extend support to the less privileged and ensure that no one is excluded from the joy of the season.
The Senator prayed that the festive period would usher in joy, peace, and prosperity for the people. He also wished them a fulfilling New Year and reaffirmed his commitment to improving their wellbeing.
Oshiomhole concluded by wishing all residents of Edo North a Merry Christmas and prosperous New Year.
